The Perfect Campground Intimate Wedding
This North Carolina Campground Intimate Wedding is a perfect example of the kind of days I want to shoot over and over again. So much intention, so much love and not a ton of “frills”. Pamela & Tyler opted to get married at Gold River Camp in Marion, NC. It’s the most perfect little campground set on the edge of a creek nestled in the North Carolina foothills.
The story:
This wedding day was a first for me in the way that the couple chose to get married after sunset, snuggled up by the fire. When I spoke with Pamela + Tyler about their values for their day, their main request was to capture the connection between everyone attending their celebration with very few formal photos. During the ceremony, a flame was passed from candle to candle, showing that growing connection in a tangible way. They deepened the connection even more by placing a “get to know me” game on the backs of everyone’s place cards, encouraging guests to mingle and talk to someone they otherwise may not have. P + T had such a specific vision for their day, and it was all centered around the people the love the most.
